I guess the most exciting stuff going on right now is becoming adults. K graduates this December and so is starting to try find a job and career. It has been interesting. He's gone to the UNLV Career Fair, Lockheed Martin Openhouse, applied for many positions, and more than recently he drove up to Utah for an interview. Most of the previous things he's checked into have really responded or shown much interest in it. The job interview in Utah has shown interest in him. It's for a position at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. We won't know for a month though how things go. He did enjoy it up there, and liked the people and how they treat their people. Plus they have some interesting benefits like one is covering a Masters degree.
This past weekend we finally got to go over and visit my parent's house. It had been a while, and was nice to go over. We also got fed a turkey meal. It was delicious. Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce, and pie for dessert. It made me really want Thanksgiving to get here quickly. Also while we were there we played Bang! It's a card game that my sister introduced to us, and as a whole family enjoy playing it. The object of the game is to kill off certain players dependent of what your role is. For example the roles are: Sheriff, deputy, renegade, and outlaws. The Sheriff is to kill everyone but the deputy. Deputy is to kill everyone but the sheriff. Renegade wants to kill everyone, but the Sheriff has to be last. Then the outlaws are just trying to kill the Sheriff. However, no one knows what each other person is, except the Sheriff is known. It's a fun game once people know how to play it. Well in the game we played mom an outlaw died first, then I as an outlaw died second. After we were out there were no outlaws. So the Sheriff was just trying to figure out who was the deputy and renegade. I snapped a picture during this intense game time:
