We've definitely have been keeping busy. With three kids during the day, I feel like not much gets accomplished but we're always doing stuff. Although some days (kind of like this morning), I just give myself and the kids a rest and don't do much. Then in the evenings Kyle has meetings one night, and I got Young Women's another night...so those are pretty busy too.

As I mentioned, I'm in Young Women's. Planning the large combined ones are the trickiest to keep all those youth focused, doing something, and have fun but learn. I saw online a human-sized Hungry Hippos game. Our group pulled it together, and everyone had a blast.

Our Treehouse passes were expiring the next day, and they had just come out with a new exhibit. So I took all three kids there one last time.

Audrey is getting ready to have her baby in December. Since I won't be needing baby girl clothes for a while, I offered for her to borrow them. Got most the stains out, sorted them into their sets, and now they're all ready. It was fun to go through them, and remember my favorites. A bunch even came from Audrey and Mama Hansen.

Dinner is an interesting time. Dexter is a picky eater, but after a long time of working on trying new things, he now will try something but usually doesn't continue to eat it. Everything needs to be separated, no sauces or dips of any kind, and no flavor is best. Ellie on the other hand, will eat almost anything. She loves sauces, especially BBQ, ranch, and ketchup. She even asks for lettuce. Salsa and spicy stuff she has to have on, if she spies you using some.

Flynn is a smiley baby (as long as it isn't near eating time, and he hasn't been over an hour). I had to catch a few of them.
One night Dexter suddenly woke up with a deep barking cough. I went in to check on him. The cough wasn't stopping, then it turned to a sudden wheezing, and he could barely get any air in. We called 911, and the paramedics came. However, before they got there his "attack" had gone away. We took him to the doctor a few days later, who said it was a croup attack.

Made it through taking all three kids to the doctor's. One 2 month old, a potty training 2 year old, and an exhausted 4 year old. Whew.

While Dexter's at preschool, Ellie gets some time with just me and Flynn. She enjoys playing with him.

As I mentioned above...Ellie is potty training. Well I guess now she is potty trained, although she still has small accidents most days. It was rough for a while because she had gotten constipated (this was the reason we needed to start), so part of learning that part of things was very hard. Cleaned up way too many nasty messes, but now we've had a week of good times.

Dexter doesn't get to much one on one time, but I try to make some for him. Usually it's in the afternoon while Ellie is asleep, and hopefully Flynn.

I am not usually a collector. However, I found some pieces at Walmart that were exactly what I had in my mind of what I'd love my kitchen to be decorated like. So I grabbed some pieces, and then more and just a few more. The best thing about this collection though, is that I use all the pieces and they are nice to use.

Ellie one Sunday sat still long enough for me to do her hair in double french braids. Then she requested a headband, and then for me to do something with her nails. I painted some glitter on them. Even though she loves Lightning McQueen, cars and planes, loves digging in the mud, she can be a little girly too.
