July and August are going to be crazy birthday months for us now on. Within 5 weeks we have 4. Dexter's is the only one not included.
After Flynn's birthday, mine was up next.
My mom made me one of my favorite cakes...white cake with cream cheese frosting, with strawberry danish dessert on top. My gift was already given to me way back from Mother's day, a bread maker.

Next up, Ellie's B-day.
Ellie was getting a special gift from Nub Nub, and some additional things for it from the rest of us. To store all of this we turned one of our storage furnitue, into something that would compliment her new toy. The actual work on it was frustrating because everything, and I mean everything was going wrong. Since it was now 11 at night trying to finish it, I started just laughing every time a new thing popped up. We eventually got it put together.

Ellie is now 2!
She's not a fan of cake, so she opted for cookies as her birthday dessert. She even got to choose her birthday dinner...hot dogs!

Her biggest surprise present though was...a kitchen!! The item we built is supposed to be a "refrigerator" to store all the play food and utensils she has. The kitchen came from the Hansens.

The Hansens even threw in an extra gift bag for Dexter full of some new cute clothes.

Last up was Kyle's birthday. There are no pictures because I failed in doing much to celebrate it. He did have lots of fun though because that night he went to a friend's house for a guy's night of computer games. Dexter had really wanted to give dad a gift. I took him shopping and he picked out (after much, much counseling with me) a "big kids" lego set.
Whew and now a break before more birthdays and holidays and such.
