Stalking with some Halloween

So last night for a homework assignment I had to stalk people.  Not really, but I had to observe construction people and I felt like a stalker doing it.  The assignment was to observe a roadwork construction crew and see who was being productive vs. who wasn't.  Being as it is Vegas most the crews work at night.  So K joined me after my last class, and around 9:00 pm we went out to find some stuff to observe.  We found a street having some sewer lines redone, but there was only one crew out.  Finding a parking spot on the street was tough but after a few U-ies we pulled in and parked, but still had to go walk out on the sidewalk to get a good look at the crew.  So there we were standing on the sidewalk with my pencil and paper, K with his stopwatch.  And we are just looking at the construction people, making notes every 30 seconds.  They must have thought we were some weirdos or something.

K and I have also figured out what to do for our Halloween costumes.  We don't think there will be any trick or treaters at our place, but there is always the Trunk or Treat at the church.  It took some debates.  We want to be cheesy and have a couple costume, but also be fun people.  So who are we going to try and be?  Peach and Mario.  Yep, we are nerds and are going to be video game characters.  But the costumes are fairly easy and recognizable for kids.  So over the next month or so, we are going to be trying to put together these people.  I'll try to add pics as the progress goes.
