Mini-Me's

I just had my 35 week checkup.  The baby was doing great.  He was a bit stubborn by keeping his head in my hip (not comfy for me at all) and wouldn't move.  The doctor could only get this shot of his face.  It is one cute ear and some hair around.
Little Flynn is measuring a week or two big.
With the new baby coming Kyle and I talk about what characteristics this one is going to have.  We have a split, so he will be the tie breaker.  Dexter takes after me in hair color and body shape, but has Kyle's Hazel/green eyes.  Then Ellie is a Hansen with her facial features and dark hair, but has my blue eyes.
Aunt Audrey

It's gotten warm here, especially for a 9 month prego woman.  So I finally pulled out the kiddie pool for the kids.  The kids enjoyed all the steps of getting it ready.  Laughing and holding their ears with when the pump was on, then just goofing around in it once inflated.  It's funny how kids find entertainment in the littlest things.

 Finally water time!

Later they both crashed.  Dexter tried snuggling with me, but was a bit wiggly.  Then he laid on the floor and BAM! He was out.

I got to go up to girl's camp for one day.  There's no way I'd be able to sleep on the ground even for one night there .  Even just during that day I was waddling to the restrooms often.  Thankfully things worked out so our campsite was the closest to the restrooms.
Mercy River came and did a devotional with singing for us
The one day I was there was interesting.  I showed up and thought the others were on the hike.  That's what was scheduled then.  Underneath a pavillion I noticed huge puddles, and lots of sleeping bags just hung out.  Figured they got a bit of rain.  Apparently it was a torrential downpour that even being in the middle of the pavillion everyone was getting soaked.  A tent had collapsed.  Then to top it off lightning struck very close to the tents, and not very far from where some leaders were standing.  So they actually quickly evacuated the camp, to spend the night at the YW President's in-laws house.  I got there as they came back, and the girls loved telling me all that happened.

I mostly take pictures of when me and the kids are doing fun things.  I like to remember those moments.  However, most days are not all just fun and games.  Being a parent, especially stay-at-home mom is hard.  It's a lot of hard work to teach them so many things.  Many of the "teaching moments" are from when something is currently going on.  Below is an example of Ellie drawing all over Dexter's artwork, and Dexter's reaction to it.  So here's proof that everyday is definitely not just laughs and games, and hunky dory.
He was quite traumatized and mad at his sister for drawing over his giraffe and boat.

Ellie just wanted to add in her own artistic skills
They usually work through it quickly, and eventually all becomes quiet on the homefront and they are best buds again.  At least until Ellie takes Dexter's toy, or Dexter hogs all the toys, etc.

May was the month of thunderstorms.  But the other day one of them snuck up on us, and it was quite the downpour.
When I mean snuck up, everything was super clear all around.  Then all of a sudden pouring.  So I looked up the radar and here's why.  Just a random blip.  The red section actually passed over our house.
Random photos...
Dexter wanted a picture of bubbles in his hair.
This is actually way old, but I figured out how to get it from my phone, so here it is now.  Dexter playing with his friend from across the street.
