Sweet Sunshine!

The day arrived my flight to Vegas.  I caught a ride with a ward friend who was able to drop me off, but because of her two kids in the car couldn't help me in.  So I looked rather crazy walking in.  Pulling Dexter in a stroller, the large suitcase containing all our stuff for the week, and his large carseat all going backwards through the airport.  Let's say my pregnant self was out of breath at each stop until I got to check half that in.

Dex was so great waiting for the airplane.  Some of his craziness even entertained others and me.  He was a lap child ticket and this was a full plane.  Thankfully a large man sat on the aisle, and I was at the window.  Even with three or less seats remaining on the plane ours looked the least appealing.  Hmmm...squished between a large person, and a wiggly noisy child and mother.  So Dex and I had a little wiggle room which was much needed.  A one hour flight was all he could handle.  No pictures...even though he was good.  My hands were full!

There weren't too many plans.  Spend time with family and get sunshine!  I did not lack for either.  So most days were spent mornings with my mom and evenings with the Hansens.  Here's some pictures of all that we did.

Went to the zoo with the Hansen family.  All there were Pop Pop, Nub Nub, Audrey with boyfriend Alex, and Tyler with girlfriend Sam...and of course Dex and I.

And by the end of the day we were usually pooped out

One night he was exhausted so he kept just trying to curl op on my bed instead of getting ready.

I also got to spend a couple hours with my friend Katy and her little X-Man one morning.  Other than that, not many friends knew I was coming down.  I knew the grandma's (and grandpa's) wanted to commandeer our time.

It was an awesome time down there!  And this is how we felt after:

I caught a ride home with Audrey as she was driving to Wyoming to see her man. Both Dex and I were so happy to see Kyle.
