On the Mend

Dexter and my sickness has mostly passed.  I still have a cough, which is annoying but a lot better than a full on cold.
Because of our  colds, we couldn't visit Dexter's newest cousin when he was first born.  Trevor and Danielle had a baby boy, Milo!  Dexter's first cousin on the Hansen side, and first boy cousin.  However, we did get to have all the Hansens there for a video chat for the little guy.
1.5 days old and still at the hospital
We passed the week normally, nothing too exciting.  We were anticipating Friday.  Dexter's doctor appointment for his bone.

The x-ray revealed...it's healed!  Well healed enough for him to be back to his crazy self without mom trying to prevent him from doing things.  Also, no more sling wearing.  We had stopped that a week and a half before since he could still do anything he wanted with it on anyways.  But it was nice to get officially told he didn't have to wear it.  Right now the bone and fused sections kind of form a circle. The doctor said it will take a few more months for the bones to fuse all the way together, and a complete year for the bump he has to disappear.

Well Dex and I just have fun during the day.  We had some fun spring weather bring us snow and cold temperatures again.  So lots of indoor playing.
Indiana Jones (also Agent P style) hats are fun to wear

He wanted to play with airplanes and cars in there.
Stinkin' cute when he sleeps

Loves showing me (and the camera) stuff
Well this weekend we got to take a trip and visit Milo!  He's 9 days old and a tiny baby.  So cute.  Made me think of how crazy things will be, come August.  With a newborn to feed all the time, and a little active boy.  But Dexter was nice to Milo, at the end of our 1.5 day visit, so it gives me a bit of ease.
Holding his new cousin, and practice for his soon to be sibling
