Much Love

It's been a nice few weeks.  With all the craziness over the last few months, it's been nice to not have to worry about very many plans.  Any plans we have for travelling aren't for many months away, and it's nice just to be at home.

Winter is still here.  I am craving warmth and spring, but there are many more weeks.  At least the inversion hasn't been seen for a while, and its been slightly above freezing most days.  We've tried to take advantage and go on walks, or to the park once.  Dexter is getting much better at walking, and is even do a little run.

I'm getting better at keeping the kids occupied during the day.  Some days it's just curl up and read books and play with lots of cars.  Others I try to get him to color or work in his workbooks.  Others we fight with the nerf swords.  I definitely try to take it just day by day.

This is one of them. Definitely my best side.

This past weekend we had a bunch of fun.  Friday Kyle had it off, and spent it giving me my Valentine's day present.  A new couch!!!  It took a lot of work.  The Costco nearest us didn't have it in stock anymore, as he found out when he got there.  Then the next closest sold their last one as we were on the phone with them.  The next closest had 5 in stock.  So he drove the 45 min-1 hour to go get it.  It took 2 trips though since it's huge, and a minivan can only carry so much.  It's been super fun though to have.  It's a 7 piece sectional and can be rearranged in lots of ways.  Great for my desire to always change things up in rooms.

Then my parents came to visit us!  They took Dexter to the Treehouse, and just spent lots of time with us.  Melynn came up on Sunday.  Monday morning everyone left, but we enjoyed our visitors.

We went on a day-after Valentine's Day to a frozen yogurt place.  Yum!
