Warning: Long post about how I'm feeling, but after it is cute pictures. So skip if you want.
I mentioned I would share why I wasn't feeling so great while painting the dresser and bookshelf. My plan of writing about it was to do it after I got some answers, but that got pushed back for a while.
The basics is that I'm having some heart arrhythmia issues. From Friday through Monday, I was having off and on palpitations (the doctor's term), lightheadedness if I bent slightly over, a pressure of headache would develop, just general exhaustion, and a few other issues. As a pregnant person, yes those things happen occasionally but this was consistent across a couple days and worse than pregnancy usual. I did go in to see a doctor, but as I wasn't having an episode right then for an EKG to pick up he referred me to a cardiologist.
That appointment was set for like a week later. Right when I got to the doctor's Kyle called me, to say they needed to reschedule my appointment for 3 weeks later. So when (if I get to finally see this doctor) it'll have been a whole month since it first started. It is slightly frustrating that they say this is important, but yet I have to wait so long. Eventually the amount of episodes has gone down, and the overall crappy feeling too. Some days I don't notice any episodes, other days I have a few. Hopefully in a couple weeks, I can get some answers.
Well enough about that. Even with all that life moved on, and we still had fun.
Here's the picture of his head wound almost all healed up. It led to a large bald spot, right in time for a wedding. At least we can part the hair, to mostly cover it up.
The library held a Dr. Seuss party. They had some small games, crafts and reading. Dexter enjoyed it, and Ellie did a little. Lots of people around, so she was a bit shy and grumpy about it.

Saturday was Pi day, or March 14th (3.14). We celebrated by eating a banana cream pie.

Kyle and I also had a date night on Pi day. We first went to Buffalo Wild Wings, to satisfy my food craving. Then went to a bowling alley. There was a large group of little boys next to us who would occasionally in their excitement of watching their friend's ball roll walk into our lane...as we're about to send a ball down. Thankfully we never collided with them, but I think there were a few close calls. Not like they noticed them. I did have to rest a bit every few frames cause although most episodes were gone by this point my heart would race easily at times.

Afterwards, we grabbed a dessert and headed to a park to walk around.

I'm trying to take steps to get ready for the baby. One of those was clearing out the boxes. They were filled with outgrown clothes that I had just tossed in, hand-me-downs from neighbors and other things. I finally buckled down, brought up all my stored baby/kids clothes boxes and sorted them out. Not fun, but I did enjoy looking at all the cute baby boy clothes I'll get to use again.

The days have been full of springtime wishy washy here. It was really nice a few weeks, then suddenly turned cold again with some rain. But those nice days are gorgeous and we go soak up the sun.
