Only two days after our visitor left, we also got to go on our own trip. The Hansen's are getting a large trip with us later this year, so we wanted to have a trip with just some of my family. My mom was able to meet us in St. George.

We had just a few things planned for St. George. The first up was their Johnson Farm where they found a large collection of dinosaur footprints, and now made a museum on the site. Was it the most awesome dinosaur museum...no, but it was interesting to see the footprints.

The site had an outdoor play area with digging in dirt and sad, making their own footprints and just some short walkways. It was a beautiful day, so we spent a lot outside.

We then went out to lunch with my grandparents (whose house we also stayed at) to Chuck A Rama.

Later we took a walk around the St. George temple, and met up with one of Kyle's childhood friends...the Wheeler's.

The next morning we headed out for some kid fun time. There's an old candy shop I used to visit when I was a kid. We took the kids there, and they even got to pick out a few pieces of candy.

Afterwards, we visited their children's museum, which was pretty cool. It was also in an amazing old building. The museum was also at a large park that had a fountain splashpad and a river splash pad. I wanted the kids to play, but they've always hated those things before. This time they loved it. The fountain jumped spots a lot and wasn't full blast. I like the river part best. The only downside to this day is that Ellie had horrible diarrhea the whole day. It was bad.

Thankfully she finally felt better, and we continued our trip...to Las Vegas.
