Lights! Crowds! Awesomeness!

So Kyle and I got to go on a date.  Lately they've seen sparse, and for a whole year I was spoiled with going on one every Friday.  We wouldn't always go out, or spend money, but just spend a dedicated time with just each other.  Some of the best ones were homemade food and watching a movie.  Although I would usually fall asleep before the movie was even half way through.  So back to topic....this past weekend though we were Vegas tourists.  We visited the Fremont Street Experience.  Being locals you would think we would've seen it before.  Nope.
First we went to Pei Wei and had some lettuce wraps and other food.  Then we drove down and parked at the Neonopolis...then started being tourists.  It was fun!  We caught two of the shows.

Walked down and back the whole street.  Wandered into a few of the historic casinos...didn't really care for them.  We watched two of the spray paint artists create something.  It was kind of crowded and took us a little while to realize why.  Nascar weekend.  Once we realized it, it seemed like everyone was wearing some sort of jacket, hat, t-shirt or all of the above.  We actually left at around 8:15 because everyone was starting to get more drunk and smoke more.  No bueno.

Afterwards we ate some frozen yogurt from Golden Spoon.  Another first.  I didn't think it was the greatest, but it was a nice refreshing dessert.  And that concludes our date.  No pictures so I got these from various websites.
