Freeeeeedooooommmmmm!!!!!

Okay, so I forgot to write yesterday...but today is more momentous anyways.  I am free!  I am a college graduate (that is if I didn't bomb any of my tests).  I had my last two finals today.  One was written and to be turned in at 8 pm, the other one was at 6.  So when did I start actually studying for these.  The written exam was started this morning and finished at noon...which is when the last final exam studying started and ended around 4.  The other test 2 tests I had, the studying was also procrastinated.


So...what happened this week.  It's long, I'm sorry, but so much I don't want to forget about.
The weekend kept me busy, which I always like.


Friday


Friday night was going to Kyle's Senior Design Dinner, for Kyle.  Remember a few months ago, Kyle won grand prize for some really nerdy thing.  Well the Engineering college also does it in the Spring semester, but then host a dinner for both semesters.  Its a fancy dinner, with very important people there.  Since Kyle couldn't go...it was I (as him) and then Mama and Pops Hansen (as the 2 guests).  


There were many speeches, food, and fancy tables.  The food was supposed to be fancy, but in my opinion was horrible.  The salad was good but that's where it stopped.  Dinner took a while to get to us, and guess what it was...seafood.  Now I don't like seafood.  Like...loathe it.  But since I had no option, I thought maybe I was being silly and prejudicial.  Nope...shoulda stuck with my instincts.  So I went hungry. :\  


During the middle of the award presentations I did get to go up and shake a bunch of hands for Kyle.  All the important people up there I don't think got that and told me congrats and said how proud they were a woman got the award.  I helped him...by listening, cooking and cleaning for him, and allowing it to take over my living room.  So yes I deserved it.

Saturday 


It was filled with a baby shower for a friend.  I made half of her gift.  Look at the pictures below before I let you know what it is.

Did you guess that it's a duck washcloth.  Handsewn by me!  From far away it looks kinda cute...up close it looks demented.  Hopefully overtime this will get perfected.


Continuing on...afterwards I went to Chipotle for the last times with my friends.  I was so full from the baby shower and chipotle.  After this I hopped on over to UNLV to hear a friend do their senior vocal performance.  She was so good.


Then the rest of the day and Sunday passed.


On Monday I got to watch Grandma...but there was a change to the house.  

The concrete slab had been poured for the new addition.  And when I went Wednesday...there was framing!

So that's it for now.  One thing I didn't mention.  Although I am dang happy about being done with college, there's only one thing better coming up.
