We like to think that we helped this couple get together. We don't take credit for setting them up since we didn't. We take credit for being a topic that helped them talk and get to know each other better. Sounds strange, but here's the brief story. They met at Stoney's one night. Mike was talking to Candace, and she mentioned that she lived near UNLV. Now we had just moved there, and had met Candace a few times at our weekly community dinners. Mike knew that Kyle had moved in the UNLV area. So he mentioned that his friend Kyle and his wife Whitney had just moved by UNLV too. Candace said that she knew us from the dinners...and BAM! they started dating. :)
Anyways, after a long drive down Friday we picked up the tux and got to the rehearsal. Afterwards, we went over to the Hansens and just enjoyed time over there. Saturday we played games with my family. Then in the afternoon went to the Hansen's to help because Grandma's TV Ears weren't working. It is a strange hookup with the TV ears, and had a lot of downsides. After a run to Best Buy and Kyle taking some time we have made the TV ears work with everything! Woot woot!
After that fun stuff, was now the wedding. Kyle had to get there 2 hours early because of pictures and just have to be there early. Well I volunteered to help set up and decorate. So that's how the 2 hours passed. Now for the wedding.
I took a few pictures before the wedding, but didn't bring it to the ceremony or take any of Kyle and I. How lame is that? Very, and I regret it now. But I can't change it.
Where the ceremony was held, flowers on the center aisle, and the new happy Mr. & Mrs. McDonald
Well the weekend had to come to an end. So on Sunday we endured another 8 hour drive back up. I did manage to snag a picture with my family before we left.
