On Friday, Dexter's 2nd birthday, my parent's drove up. They were here to celebrate his birthday and take home some of my sister's stuff home when they went back.
Dak knew what the presents were and started opening them before we were ready to take pictures and all. But we snapped a few.
He was a spoiled little guy. Got a great quilt from Nub Nub, along with: 2 Imaginenext dinosaurs, 2 books, 2 stuffed animals, and 2 outfits. From Kyle and I he got a battering ram for his castle, and a numbers book. From Uncle Nate and Aunt Jess he got a megablocks set that came with a hard hat. From GG and Grandpa he got some money and a trip to the zoo! So much, and he loves all of it.

We finished the celebrating with some cookies and ice cream. No cake, since he is a picky eater. I didn't want to waste the time in making one, if he'd just say no. Cookies, he loves though and who doesn't?!
The next morning we went to the zoo. Aunt Melynn met up with us and we all got to go. It was a cold, rainy day. It didn't stop us, but made us hurry through any of the outdoor exhibits. A few times it stopped which was great, and many times it would suddenly downpour. Not awesome. The zoo people warned that it might deter the animals from being out, but most of them were active and visible. Which was awesome.

After the zoo we went out to lunch, and visited the restaurant/kitchen supply store. Then Melynn left us to head back to Provo.
My parents offered to watch Dexter and let Kyle and I have a date night. We hurried and went to the temple. It had been a while, and with many questions and changes that are coming up we wanted to feel the spirit and guidance.
To say the temple was busy was an understatement. Even though we got into the chapel to wait for a session 20 minutes prior to it starting, it was full. Then the next one was in Spanish so we got translator headsets. But it too was too full. So instead of waiting again and doing a normal endowment session we switched to a sealing. It was a great time to spend with Kyle in the Lord's house, and great to see so many other people doing work there.
Sunday we just went to church, then chilled. Dex enjoyed playing with all the birthday toys more, and spending time with GG and Grandpa. They left early Monday morning, and when Dex woke up he tried to find them. He was a sad they had to leave him.

The rest of the week has been great. The weather is warming again, and my happiness levels rise with it too.
I'm still feeling good. Most nights I'm exhausted by the time Dak goes to bed. And I feel big, but I know it's just starting. And almost all pregnant women always feel big. However, the doctor says I've only gained 4 pounds so far, so my big belly is definitely all baby and not any extra stuff. Only 16.5 more weeks.
