Pickin' Wildflowers

Our days haven't been filled with too much stuff since the trip with the Thompson family.  Here's some things we've been doing the past few days.
My wildflowers had been beautiful before I left, but when I got back there were so many new colors and open buds.  Each day there are actually even more.  Love this native wildflower mix.
Beautiful flowers
My family brought up a bunch of old photos and memorabilia for me.  I was going through them on Father's day and came across these ones.  Pictures of my dad with my brother and I, along with some of us and my mom.
Nub Nub has a few health problems currently.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago.  Her doctors and her, are really positive since it's the least aggressive and a tiny amount.  Either way it's still a bit scary.  But then on top of that she was at a girl's camp activity, and broke her leg.

So Dexter and I made her a countdown chain for our next trip to see her.  We put different activities that he is looking forward to do with her and Pop Pop on each day.  Hopefully it cheers her up.  Dexter talks about how she has a broken leg often, and you can tell he understands her pain.

I like green smoothies, and am doing a challenge of trying 30 new ones over the next month or so.  Dexter drinks them with me too.

Tall tower of stuffed animals
I put this one on Instagram and titled it: Some people asked when would my construction degree come in handy...to build tall towers of stuffed animals of course!
Ellie over the last couple day went from like 4 steps to suddenly just walking across the kitchen, living room, or hallway.

Also, Dexter wanted his jumping skills shown off.  Here's a video of that.
