Paparazzi

Dexter found my camera and became our little paparazzi.
Picture of him in action

The hat completed his look

He took tons of photos. Not too many were of the ground or ceiling. He actually is getting better.  The only reason he stopped is the battery died.
He had the flash on

That's better
A still life
We checked out a kids' cookbook from the library. Dexter was interested in the pigs-in-a-blanket. He helped me make them for dinner later that week.
Rolling out the dough
We go to the library each week for story-time.  Afterwards we check out a ton of books.  Since I think reading is very fun, and important to kids we actually get through most of them each week.  Curious George books are Dexter's favorite, and I'm pretty sure Ellie loves them too.
Nighttime story with Dad

Reading to herself
We recently had stake conference and was held at the Ogden Tabernacle.  Ellie struggled at first, until she fell asleep for the remaining time.  Then by the end Dexter had nodded off too.
Both kids passed out
He was still asleep after it ended so we grabbed a video.

It was a nice day, and since the kids already took naps, we went on a family walk.
Looking at the horses

It was walking towards her

She took a turn pulling Dexter.  She could do it...just very slowly

So we sped her up
The weather is still so beautiful for being February.  Sometimes light jackets are required, other days it's short sleeve shirts.
I think his goal is to unbury the boulders

Practicing our golf swings

Might need to work on form

She looked like a little kid in this outfit.  Growing up too fast.
