The Friday before Valentine's Day, Kyle and I actually went on a real date. We hired a babysitter, went out to dinner, and then to a movie.
Our dinner of choice was the Golden Corral Buffet. Mainly because I wanted to sample a variety of American type food. Afterwards we headed to the dollar theater and caught Night At The Museum 3. It was crazy how busy the theater was. The date was just nice to get out of the house, and have some alone time together.
On the real Valentine's Day we just painted all day. We did take a little break in the evening so that we could surprise Dexter, and Ellie, with a fun opening celebration the kid's museum was doing. The new exhibit is Curious George. Dexter loves Curious George. It is the first books he has to grab when we go to storytime at the library. Then I can't say how many times we've watched through all the TV episodes of it on Netflix.
At the celebration they had of course the exhibit to explore, banana splits, singing time, and you got to meet George himself and the Man with the Yellow Hat.

| Only Ellie would go near the real Curious George |
| Dexter did like the little statue of George though |
| You could make shadow puppets |
| There was a spaceship |
| He finally said yes and even gave George a high five |
